日本語１３２　　第十課：Review

今日は何曜日ですか。

今週の週末　何か　しますか。　はい／いいえ

何をするんですか。

Let's take our answer, such as 「しゅくだい　を　します」and form a question, using the verb Phrase Modifying a Noun like 学生、人、男の人、女の人

 

If the answer is しゅくだい　を　します then:

今週の週末　しゅくだいをする　学生は　だれ　ですか？

Ans: レイチェルさん　です。

 

Reminder/Review on Verb Phrases in Noun Modifying Position:

あそこに　います　ー＞　人　

よく　レストランで　食べます　ー＞　学生　

よく　としょかんで　べんきょうしています　ー＞　大学生　

あした　ポートランドへ　行きます　ー＞　人　

先生と　話しています　ー＞　学生

 

So let's talk about weekend plans:

今週の週末　何を　しますか　

どこへ行きますか

Of course, we could add +おもいます to any of these answers, right?

e.g., 土曜日に　えいがを　見に行きたい　と　おもいます OR

友だちと　話したい　と　おもいます

 

And if we want to "restate" what someone else thinks or feels, we switch to the

と　おもっている form, e.g.,

X-さんは　えいがを　見に行きたい　と　おもっています

X-さん thinks s/he wants to go see a movie...

 

Review Reminder: I think/I feel that it is:

--Basics

--い-Adjectives and Verbs in the Plain form = just add the と+おもいます;

--な-Adj and Nouns we will need to add in a だ and then the と+おもいます
